Hall Director

The Hall Director of Teal Residential College is a live-in professional staff member within Campus Living & Learning. The Hall Director is responsible for promoting student learning, spiritual formation, and citizenship development in the residential experience. In collaboration with the Faculty Steward and the Program Director, the Hall Director appoints and supervises the Community Leaders, Resident Chaplain, and Office Assistants.

Jamarcus received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from Baylor University. During his time as an undergrad, Jamarcus was heavily involved in student leadership, leading him to pursue a career in higher education. Since graduating, Jamarcus has served at Baylor as a Special Assistant to the Provost and admissions Counselor and is currently the Residence Hall Director at Teal Residential College. He has also served as a middle school teacher at a Waco area school. He is pursuing his Master of Higher Education and Student Affairs at Baylor. He is a native of College Station and enjoys mentorship, student development, and working with youth.
