Faculty Steward

The Faculty Steward of Teal Residential College for Engineering and Computer Science is a live-in Engineering or Computer Science faculty member who is passionate about living in community and engaging students. The Faculty Steward provides the direction and vision for the college and collaborates with the Hall Director and Program Director to foster academic excellence, intensive faculty-student interaction, and a rich experience steeped in Baylor tradition.

Professor Brian Thomas is a Senior Lecturer for the School of Engineering and Computer Science. He teaches many courses including courses specific to the Humanitarian Engineering concentration. In addition to sponsoring Engineers with a Mission, a popular student organization on campus, he also leads many discipline-specific mission trips for Baylor students. Professor Thomas and his wife, Martha, love their home at Teal! Be sure to stop by and say hello as you pet their well-loved pups, Fern and Maggie!
